PHIL-1301. Introduction to Philosophy. (3 Credits)

This course is taken for academic credit. Students will earn an A, B, C, D, F, or W. A study of major issues in philosophy and/or the work of major philosophical figures in philosophy. Topics in philosophy may include theories of reality, theories of knowledge, theories of value, and their practical applications.

PHIL-2306. Introduction to Ethics. (3 Credits)

(3-3-0) Core Area 040 This course is taken for academic credit. Students will earn an A, B, C, D, F, or W. The systematic evaluation of classical and/or contemporary ethical theories concerning the good life, human conduct in society, morals and standards of value.
