Biology AA Degree, Liberal Arts Major
Biology is the science of life and living organisms. Trinity Valley Community College’s Biological Science program will help you understand the nature, scope, and relationships of life forms, as well as how biology applies to the environment, engineering, medicine, and everyday life.
An associate's degree in the biological sciences can lead to a number of entry-level jobs, including Laboratory Technician, Medical Assistant, and Veterinary Technician. However, many careers in this field require more advanced levels of education with the completion of an Associate of Arts, Liberal Arts Degree with an emphasis in Biology providing a solid foundation to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree.
