Chemistry AA Degree, Liberal Arts Major
Students who complete an Associate of Arts, Liberal Arts Degree with an emphasis in Chemistry will gain a basic understanding and appreciation of nature, critical thinking, and problem-solving appropriate for a profession in chemistry and related disciplines. Graduates of the program are qualified to work in entry-level chemistry professions or use it to supplement their current career in industry.
Many chemistry careers require education beyond the associate degree and the AA, Liberal Arts Degree with an emphasis in Chemistry provides a solid foundation to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree. Students should work with their advisor to tailor course selections to align with their chosen transfer university.
