Certificate of Completion
The certificate of completion is designed to provide core courses in a workforce and technical education program that specifically and directly relate to competencies needed for employment and potential advancement in a career field. Certificates of completion are desired by many employers, especially by those in demanding workforce fields.
In order to be eligible for a certificate of completion (CC), students must:
- Complete the prescribed curriculum for programs of less than two years duration as outlined in this catalog.
- Earn a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in the courses presented to meet the requirements for the certificate.
- Complete a minimum of 15 semester credit hours in residence prior to graduation.
- Complete TSI requirements, if applicable. While many CCs are exempt from TSI requirements, consult with an academic advisor for accurate information regarding each CC’s testing requirements.
